 "Alexis, today you turn 17 years old. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Mike and I visited your grave yesterday. Morgan was there over the weekend and Zach and your dad was there today. As I stood there I pictured your beautiful smile and said how grateful I am to have you as my angel. I thank you for helping me cope with your loss. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you. It is hard to imagine you would be driving and dating and next year you would be graduating high school. I hope you are having a great Birthday. We love you and miss you dearly, Mom"
