"Hi Mike,It's your old neighbors from 3502A Clay. James had saved this website to the favorites on our computer, and today I decided to take another look. Oh, What a Beautiful Memorial! I need to apoligize for not writing sooner but I think I took so long to write because I wasn't sure of exactly what to say. I knew that nothing I was to say would have made alexis' tranistion in to heaven any easier. Everything I wanted to say I was sure that you had already heard. Alexis was and still is a beautiful, beautiful girl! That smile, absolutly, the sweetest thing you've ever seen. I wanted to share a poem with you that I wrote years ago. I just know Alexis will love love it, and I think it will bring some comfort to you and the rest of your family. The Poem is entitled Angel Band:When I lay me down to sleep,With mind still full aware.I close my eyes to hear the sound of music in the air.The sweet and gentle song I hear,It calls to me at night. And, in the distance not far off I see a glowing light. My heart pounds with excitement,My feet begin to race.Because I know what waits for me,Beyond that cities gates.I can see them standing there,The Loved ones I have known. The light that helped to guide me here,Reflecting off the Throne. The music playing loudly now,I turn around to see,Heaven's Angels all assembled,Serenading me.Standing there inside this place,I've never felt such Peace.Sing your song, sweet angel band, The song of the ""Redeemed""Sing it louder Angel band,My heart begins to weep.Sing it, Sing it, Sing your song,Sing your song to me.I love to hear the Angels sing,Such lovely harmony. So sing your song sweet angel band,Sing my soul to sleep.Well I hope all is as well as it can be, and I wanted to let you know that we do care, and we are sorry for the loss that all of you had to suffer through. You will see her again, and she'll be waiting by those gates with that smile on her face, laughing her joyous laughter when you all make it home to her! What a reunion that will be!We will be praying for all of you,Your always on our minds,James, Shannon, Ally, Andy, Aaron Nett"
