Hey Alexis..Its been over a year now and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of you and wish you were here. Things arent the same without you but I think we all sleep better at night knowing we have a guardian angel. I love you girl.

I have known Alexis since we went to daycare together at Barretts my aunt owned the daycare my dad and her parents knew each other Alexis and me always loved to hang out together at the daycare. I remember in the 2nd grade when my cousin and I decided we were going to let alexis be our adopted cousin if two of us got in a fight one of us would go back and forth to tell what the other would say but there was one thing about Alexis she never talked bad about anybody she was the sweetest person i ever met I will always love and miss her.

I need to apoligize for not writing sooner but I think I took so long to write because I wasn't sure of exactly what to say. I knew that nothing I was to say would have made alexis' tranistion in to heaven any easier. Everything I wanted to say I was sure that you had already heard. Alexis was and still is a beautiful, beautiful girl! That smile, absolutly, the sweetest thing you've ever seen. I wanted to share a poem with you that I wrote years ago. I saw your sister in American Eagle the other day! and it just reminded me of how much yall look alike. Though no one can ever be as beautiful as you are inside and out. I couldnt count the number of times that you helped with a problem or cheered me up. When my blood sugar had dropped and I couldn't make it to the nurse by myself you stopped what you were doing and helped me there... I ask myself why did such a kind and beautiful person have to leave her family and friends. Hey Alexis! I just wanted to tell you that you have SSSSSOOOOOOOO many friends that truly care about you. I hope that heaven is all that you hoped it would be. Even God must be enjoying your smile and laughter. I never got to see your smile or hear your laugh but the way everyone talks about them I know they were great. Everyone misses you soo much.
