Hey Alexis... It been years since I've posted on here. I drop by from time to time, but never seem to post anything. So much has changed since you left us. Friendships, relationships, Clermont, ummm no one even uses MySpace anymore lol. I feel so lost in the giant world, with no one to talk to. You were always great at that. I hope your family is doing well. I wonder what you would be doing right now if you were here. By now you would probably own about 3,000 purses lol. Everyone is getting married, and having kids, and staring new careers. I guess we are finally at that point where adulthood is officially beginning for everyone. I have a daughter now. She just turned 2 and she's beautiful. Well idk I guess I just decided to post something this time. Looks like in the first post of the new year! Go me! Anyways I miss you, I love you, and hope your having a blast up there. I'm sure you have everyone wearing flip flops lol.

Hey Alexis, I think of you often. I always feel like you watch me sometimes and you visit me in my dreams. I can't believe it's been 10 years since you've been gone. I'll never forget you though. You were the first person I met with a crazy last name like me in school.And of course my first dance Date. 6th grade hahaha. Good news, I graduated college last Friday with a second degree in computer software! I can only imagine where you would be by now. You were always smarter than me. Make sure you come see me soon. Hi Alexis, I can't believe that today marks 10 years since you've been gone. I know we have never met, but I feel like I know a lot about you just from all of the stories and pictures. I haven't written to you since Zachary and I got married. I'm a Batastini now. I can't wait for Connor to get older and understand more and have everyone tell him stories about you. I show him your picture all the time so that he knows who you are. Say hi to Granny and everyone else up there for me.
Tomorrow will be 10 years since our sweet Alexis went to be with the angels. I sat here this morning and read every poem, read all the stories and looked at all the pictures. We miss her everyday. Tonight as I'm laying here, "I Will Remember You" plays on pandora. All I can think about is you Alexis and how much I miss you. Not only were you my best friend, you were like an older sister to me. I always counted down the days till you were finally in Panama City again and I dreaded the days you had to leave. I will NEVER forget the first night we met, nor will I EVER forget the day your dad showed up at my door to tell my family the news. I love you, Alexis.
I had the pleasure of knowing Alexis. She was a sweet young lady. She was friends with my children. I remember the day when her dad came to our house to give us the terrible news. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her. I have several wonderful memories about her with my children and will treasure them always. I will always have her family in my prayers.
