A Poem By Pepaw

Alexis Marie, to you and me,
But Hippie Chic to her moms and dads.

A gifted student and cheerleader supreme,
Colorful clothes and purses, made her beam

Always ready with a great big grin,
Its easy to see why she had so many friends.

With music blaring and homework being done,
Always a girl who liked to have fun

She left us now, for Heaven on high,
To sing with the angels and dance in the sky.

One small change was made at her request,
Lets change the way the angels dress..

Bright vibrant colors have replaced robes of white,
When you look to heaven
And see flashes of colorful light,
